The Covid Rules For Travelling To Spain, Dubai, France, Malta And Turkey

After two long years, countries around the world are finally easing restrictions on the coronavirus. As the number of people deciding to stay over the past year has increased, people are now more reluctant to go abroad and to the sun than before.

Some countries in Europe and beyond have lifted all travel bans on Kovid as they are open to tourism. However, although the rules have gotten much easier over the past couple of months, the exact restrictions still vary from country to country, so it's important to know the rules for your chosen destination.

Spain

Fully vaccinated people can enter Spain without quarantine. You must provide proof of vaccination on arrival and receive the last regular dose of Covid vaccine at least 14 days before travel.

However, if you received the last regular dose of the vaccine more than 270 days before your trip to Spain, you must receive a booster shot to be considered fully vaccinated. You don't have to wait 14 days after purchasing your amplifier to travel to Spain.

Children under 12 are exempt from the Spanish test and vaccination. People between the ages of 12 and 17 can enter Spain if their PCR test is negative within 72 hours of arriving in the country.

Those who have not been fully vaccinated but have recovered from coronavirus within the last six months can enter Spain for tourist purposes. A medical certificate or recovery file will be required as attested by the Spanish border authorities.

Despite recent confusion at this point, those vaccinated cannot enter Spain for tourism purposes. Spanish officials explained that with the exception of children aged 12 to 17, UK travelers must provide proof of full vaccination or final treatment.

France

If you are fully vaccinated, you can enter France at the border by presenting a document confirming vaccination. However, you must wait at least seven days (or 28 days for the Janssen shot) after the last dose of vaccine before travelling.

Also, if it has been more than nine months since the last regular dose of the vaccine, you will need a booster to be considered fully vaccinated. Otherwise, you must follow the entry rules for unvaccinated persons.

Unvaccinated people will now be able to travel to France if they do not pass a PCR test 72 hours before travel or if they do not pass a lateral flow test 48 hours before travel. .

Persons under the age of 12 are exempt from the Covid travel ban in France. People between the ages of 12 and 18 will be subject to the same rules that apply to vaccinated and unvaccinated immigrants, depending on their vaccination status.

Portugal

Fully vaccinated people can enter mainland Portugal unless they show proof of immunization on arrival. It should take at least 14 days to arrive in Portugal and no more than 270 days to receive the last regular dose of the vaccine.

If it is more than 270 days since the last regular dose of vaccine, a booster should be given for full vaccination. You must wait at least 14 days to travel to Portugal.

People who are not fully vaccinated will need to take a negative PCR test, which is not done 72 hours before arrival in Portugal, or a lateral flow test 24 hours before arrival.

If you can prove that you have recovered from the virus, you can enter Portugal without being tested. Those who travel to Covid for at least 11 days and no more than 180 days will be able to enter Portugal without testing.

Children 11 years of age or younger do not need to pass an exam or present an entry document to enter mainland Portugal or the Azores.

Most fully vaccinated people can enter the United States for tourist purposes. Although fully immunized visitors are recommended to undergo a covid test within three to five days of entering the country, it is not necessary to leave after arrival.

However, if you can prove you have recovered from coronavirus within the past 90 days, you do not need to be tested for three to five days, regardless of your tick status.

Foreign nationals are not permitted to enter the United States without being vaccinated. This includes, with few exceptions, people who have tested positive for covid and recovered within the past year.

Malta

If you have been fully vaccinated and received the last regular dose of the vaccine at least 14 days ago, you can enter Malta by showing proof of vaccination on arrival. Maltese border authorities will accept the NHS Coved Crossing.

From April 11, unvaccinated people will be able to enter Malta without segregation for 14 days as before. However, they must be able to provide proof of a negative PCR test not received 72 hours prior to arrival.

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 can travel to Malta if they do not receive a negative PCR result within 72 hours of arrival. Children under five are excluded and those aged 12 to 18 are subject to the same rules as adults, depending on vaccine status.

Fully vaccinated people do not need to be tested before departing for Dubai. 30 days after departure, people with reinstatement certificates, under 12s and people with severe disabilities can also enter Dubai without screening.

Turkey

Once fully vaccinated, you can enter Turkey without quarantine. You must wait at least 14 days after the second dose of the vaccination trip and provide proof that you have been fully vaccinated upon arrival in Turkey.

Completely unvaccinated persons require a negative PCR test not taken 72 hours before admission, a side leak no longer than 24 hours, or a new coronavirus recovery test for incoming Turkey.

If you have not been fully vaccinated, but have recovered from covid within the last six months, you can travel to Turkey. Turkish border guards will ask you to provide proof of a positive PCR test for no more than 14 days and no more than six months.

In Turkey, children under the age of 11 are exempt from compulsory examination and vaccination.

Fully vaccinated travelers from the UK can enter Greece with a valid vaccination certificate, a new Covid recovery certificate or a negative test result. PCR or side leak taken within 72 hours will be taken within 24 hours.

Unvaccinated persons aged 12 or over must not have a negative PCR test 72 hours before departure. Upon arrival in Cyprus, they will have to undergo a PCR test and be isolated at home while awaiting the results.

However, the government has announced that from April 18, unvaccinated tourists will only be allowed to enter Cyprus with a negative test result. The mandate for outdoor masks in Cyprus will be lifted from April 11.

In Cyprus, children under 11 are excluded from test results and vaccinations. These rules apply only to the Republic of Cyprus; The UK does not recognize Northern Cyprus and a number of rules may apply.
