When the Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East's leading travel industry event, returns to the Dubai World Trade Center on Monday, May 9, travel experts from around the world will be back in Dubai next week.

During the four days of the tourism fair, which will end on Thursday, May 12, the event will be visited by more than 20,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors. The exhibition will feature 112 countries from Japan to Jamaica and from South Africa to Italy. Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director, ATM Middle East, said: “ATM 2022 will highlight the importance of the travel industry as we continue to address the challenges of COVID-19 by demonstrating how we are moving the industry forward.

“The travel industry has improved significantly. As a result, we are seeing a clear increase in attendance, with area up over 85% year-over-year, and exhibition space in the Middle East also lagging behind 2019 levels. We now have a great opportunity to hear from industry experts about the latest trends that are helping the industry recover and, in many cases, thrive.

In line with the future of international travel and tourism this year, Arab Travel 2022 will eliminate the need for business cards and introduce new technologies that allow exhibitors and visitors to access information, brochures and marketing materials through innovative scanners and badges.

The highlight of the technology is the updated and renamed Travel Tech ATM event, formerly known as Travel Forward. There will be several interactive sessions including NEOM Vision and Strategy for NEOM Tourism CEO Andrew McAvoy to create an unforgettable experience. On the other side of the agenda, Zina Dager, CEO of Emina Entertainment, will discuss the future of visitor attractions, travel trends and more through distribution technologies, guest interactions and experiences.

The first Draper-Aladdin contest to introduce ATMs, which began earlier this year, will provide $15,000 to 15 tourism, travel and hospitality companies and possibly another $500,000 through the hit TV show Meet the Drapers.

The ARIVALDubai @ ATM Forum and the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), a first ever live event, will focus on the current and future trends of tour operators and attractions. The ATM will also feature in-depth copper forums in India and Saudi Arabia, live interviews with aviation and hotel experts, and a spotlight on ILTM Arabia's return to the lucrative luxury travel market.

The ITIC-ATM Middle East Summit, sponsored by ATM and the International Tourism Investment Conference (ITIC), will benefit from increased domestic investment in tourism and will include access to post-Jovid project funding and high-profile ministry. The conference includes. session.

Building on the success of the ATM hybrid approach during the global pandemic, this year's in-person event will be the third virtual ATM segment, running from Tuesday, May 17, 2022 to Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

ATM 2022 is a partnership with Dubai World Trade Center and its strategic partners are Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as Destination Partner, Emirates Airlines as Official Airline Partner and Emaar Hospitality Group as Official Hotel Partner.

The ATM will be open from 10:00 Monday, May 9 to 17:00 Thursday, May 12.
