This Travel Podcast Showcases The Best Destinations In The Philippines
Looking for a travel podcast? Right from the Department of Tourism (DOT) itself, Escape: Stories from the Road showcases the best destinations in the Philippines through the stories of different individuals - and is perfect for anyone who loves to travel and wants to travel again.

This five-part podcast (podcast + documentary) contains a story element that is different from the podcasts you may be used to. Thanks to the stories told, DOT hopes to inspire people to participate in meaningful tourism through unique experiences and local interactions.

Each episode focuses on the theme - adventure, identity, party, music and food - and includes interviews with figures such as national artist Kidlat Tahimik, Ph.D. and former Tourism Minister Bernadette Romulus-Puyat.
The first episode of the adventure offers some of the best outdoor experiences in Nuevo Whiskey, Kalinga and the island of Comotes, while the identity episode takes the audience from Baguio to Davao to tell the stories of people who found a way to find their way. personality ambitious. . .
The musical episode explores the sounds of the islands, from the cities to the remote forests of the Philippines, and emphasizes that music is not only for entertainment but also preserves history in our sonic landscape. The Fiesta episode explains how Philippine festivals have evolved from honoring holy patrons to exhibitions of the best cities and provinces.
In an episode about food that was recorded in May, then-Tourism Minister Puyat spoke about how she worked to support local farmers and how this led to new developments in food and agritourism in the country.
