Delta Air Lines Just Made A Big Apology, And It's A Lesson In Effective Leadership

Again, you may calm down if the flight is delayed, but is Delta telling you that your run has been pretty good overall? Not too much. But it is a reminder that the current problem must be a diversion and a guarantee.
You can never go wrong with gratitude; even if someone other than the intended audience is being thanked. So here is Bastian thanking and encouraging Delta employees:

I want to thank them for their professionalism, resilience and absolutely outstanding service that they continue to provide every day."
This seems especially appropriate as Delta passengers may encounter protesters with Delta workers protesting at the airport.
All so far, up to the last point where Delta explains why the airline believes it should be confident in the future:
“Things will not change overnight, but we are on the road to further recovery. Among the steps we have taken are adding more flexibility to your itinerary and adapting our work schedule. In summer, when challenges arise, we can rest. Faster."
It also specifies some details:
It will work? Who knows? But one of the nice things about watching the aviation industry is how much it takes to solve its problems in real time, publicly and at every step watched by a group of analysts, investors and journalists.
