Dubai Worlds Most Popular Destination, Says Report

Travel management company Bounce said in a new report that Dubai is the most viewed destination on TikTok, with #Dubai hashtagged video views exceeding 81.8 billion.

Dubai, which was second in the 2021 index, took first place from New York in the 2022 TikTok Travel Index published by Bounce, gaining a huge lead and showing how much Dubai's popularity has grown.

Synonymous with opulent opulence and luxury, Dubai has become one of the most sought-after destinations for travelers looking to soak up the luxurious sun. This ultra-modern city is home to some of the world's most breathtaking architecture, such as the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

In second place is New York City with 59.5 billion views on TikTok. The Big Apple has established itself as one of the world's top travel destinations. Although New York has lost its place as the most popular travel destination on TikTok, the city attracts a large audience on the platform and could regain the top position in the coming years.

Known as a cultural melting pot, New York has a unique identity as a hotbed of creativity and diversity. Travelers to New York City are spoiled for choice with some of the most popular options to see a Broadway show, take a trip to Ellis Island to see the Statue of Liberty, or climb the Empire State Building for spectacular views about the city.

London is in third place with 36.8 billion views on TikTok, leaving Istanbul behind last year's bronze winner. The capital of Great Britain is one of the most famous cities in the world, with an almost endless list of tourist attractions.
